Relieve Pain and Restore Function

The Facts

  1. Almost half of the adult population in the UK live with some form of chronic pain.

  2. Up to 30% of chronic pain sufferers become severely disabled due to their pain.

  3. 25% of patients that are diagnosed with chronic pain go on to lose their jobs.

  4. Non-urgent NHS referrals can take up to 18 weeks to progress

  5. PRP is a low risk non-surgical treatment that has no risk of rejection because it is taken from the patients own blood.

  6. PRP utilises the bodies own healing abilities in highly concentrated form.

  7. PRP is used by athletes like Tiger Woods, Kobe Bryant, Rafael Nadal and Alex Rodriguez

  8. Studies show that over 80% of patients report a reduction in pain post-treatment with many resolving the pain altogether.

  9. To date there has been no reports of any significant adverse side effects of PRP treatment

  10. In the 14 studies considered by NICE a total of 1423 patients were included – no patients experienced any side effects apart from some minor post-injection discomfort.

  11. PRP treatment in most cases shows a dramatic reduction in pain, improved function and improved quality of life.

  12. PRP treatment benefits are still measurable in many patients at 12-18 months post treatment meaning that the long term effects of PRP perform better than any alternative treatments.

The treatment harnesses the power of your own platelets. By concentrating the growth factors which act on the cells being treated, we are able to activate a series of repair mechanisms.

PRP works effectively on a large number of muscles, tendons and joint problems.
